IV Golf Marbella Amateur Open


	One more year, during the Spanish bank holidays of December, you will be able to play 4 day tournament, as a Pro. This year you will enjoy 4 magnificent courses. Santa Clara, with incredible greens; Los Naranjos, a prestigious course recently refurbished; Los Flamingos, a manicured garden; and Alferini (previous Gran Flamingo) with almost 6.300 metres and par 73. Play in December a unique tournament with an average temperature of 19 ºC.

INFORMATION

Dates: 5th to 8th December 2009.

Days of play: 4 days of the tournament, like a professional tournament. No cut.

Courses: Santa Clara, Los Naranjos, Los Flamingos Golf and Gran Flamingo.

Players’ stay: arrival Friday 4th, departure Tuesday 8th or Wednesday 9th. Maximum number of players: 250 players Individual Stableford format.

Entry: OPEN – open to any amateur federated player with a handicap, without restrictions. For players with a non-Spanish license, a handicap certificate is necessary.

Results: The sum of the four days, daily classification information provided at the end of each day.

Rotation: Players rotate over the four courses, playing a different course each day. Players that request to play in the same rotation will be allowed to do so.

Order of Play: Shotgun start. This may be changed to teeing off in turns depending on the players entered in each rotation.

Play: Groups will be made up within each rotation. As far as possible there will be no mixed groups. On the first two days, groups will be made up based on order of handicap. On the third and fourth days, groups will be made up based on order of classification.
